About Mike: After five years of "full time music" I left the road, married, began an electrical apprenticeship and continued to play. I am currently working a "day job" at night and doing more engagements than ever. It seems there's interest in playing music late at night by many musicians, but I've found most of my opportunities to be in the daytime and early evening. I still play traditional acoustic folk and swing music with many of my Rambler friends. I've recorded with NRBQ founder Steve Ferguson. I am the accordionist with the Louisville Ballet's production of "Shakers". I have a contract with the City of Louisville to provide music throughout the community with their "SummerScene and WinterScene" programs. As a 25 yr. member of American Federation of Musicians I get calls for many accordion services, especially European offerings. With warm weather approaching I will be at the sidewalk cafe at Luigi's Pizzeria, in downtown Louisville, daily from noon til 1 daily, weather permitting...
