Annual Chili Supper and Awards Night, January 28, 2008

Once again the musicians gathered to share chili, compete for prizes and receive service pins.  A Fifty-Year service pin was earned by Rubin Sher, and 25-Year pins went to Shelley Chapman, Keith Cook and Charlie Niehoff.   Those not present have been mailed their pins.  There were four entries in the Chili Cook-Off, judged by Mark Langley of Clifton's Pizza.  Our usual first-place chef Darryel Cotten had a rehearsal that night, so staffer Virginia Taylor scored with her vegetarian chili.  Second prize went to John and June Roy.  Thanks to Duke Marsh and Gary and Dorissa Falk  for sharing their pix!

Judge Mark Langley thoroughly evaluates the chili entries.
