Annual Chili Supper and Awards Night, January 28, 2008
Once again the musicians gathered to share chili, compete for prizes and receive service pins. A Fifty-Year service pin was earned by Rubin Sher, and 25-Year pins went to Shelley Chapman, Keith Cook and Charlie Niehoff. Those not present have been mailed their pins. There were four entries in the Chili Cook-Off, judged by Mark Langley of Clifton's Pizza. Our usual first-place chef Darryel Cotten had a rehearsal that night, so staffer Virginia Taylor scored with her vegetarian chili. Second prize went to John and June Roy.
